Schedule of Events

We appreciate that navigating two venues can be tricky. Both come with stunning views and a glass of bubbles or two, so trust us, it’ll be worth it! Please see the dedicated Schedule for full details.

Invites

Guests are as stated on your invite. Unfortunately due to capacity limitations we are unable to extend our invitation to family members not listed.

Unplugged

We kindly ask that you put your phones and cameras away to be fully present during our ceremony.

We have a wonderful photographer and videographer who are poised to capture all the magical moments, so please sit back and enjoy!

Transport

Our Ceremony and Reception are being held at separate venues that are 45 minutes apart. If there is sufficient interest we will look to organise two coaches for our guests.

Please indicate in your RSVP whether you would like a spot on the coach, and which coach.

  • Coach 1

    • Depart Geelong - Transfer to Ceremony location

    • Transfer from Ceremony to Reception

    • Return from Reception to Geelong

  • Coach 2 (Guests staying in Torquay)

    • Depart RACV Torquay Resort - Transfer to Ceremony location

    • Transfer from Ceremony to Reception

Please note - If we do proceed in booking coaches there will be limited spaces (approx. 50 passengers per coach) which will be allocated based on those first to respond.

Parking

The Ceremony Venue is a private property with limited parking. We recommend most guests hop on one of the provided coaches - this will also allow you to share a drink with us overlooking beautiful Swan Bay.

RACV Torquay Resort has on site parking but it does fill up quickly during peak Summer Season.

Gifts and Well Wishes

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, should you wish to honour us with a gift, a wishing well will be available at the reception for your contribution and well wishes.

Children

Thea and Elliot are the most important part of our lives - so we get it, navigating a wedding with kids can be tricky. Hopefully the below will help clear up a few things.

  • The Venues

    • Our Ceremony venue is a private property that includes an ornamental garden, lawns and a pond. It does have a working olive grove and there will be equipment located on the property so please supervise little ones at all times.

  • Food and Drink

    • Soft Drinks will be available for children at both venues.

    • We will provide a portable change table at the Ceremony Venue. There is a change table at the Reception Venue - BYO Nappies and wipes!

    • A limited number of high chairs are available at the Reception Venue please indicate whether you require one in your RSVP.

    • Booster seats are not available at the Reception Venue.

    • We will make sure there are some kid friendly snacks available during the Canape Hour.

    • Children’s Main will be served alongside the Adult Starter and Children’s dessert alongside the Adult Main.

    • Children’s Meal - Crumbed chicken strips, chips and salad. Chocolate Brownie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.

    • Older teens will be able to opt for an adult meal.

  • The Band - We will have a live band playing. If your child is sensitive to loud noises please look at protective headphone options.

  • Childcare - Although we have not used them ourselves, Geelong Nannies have been recommended by our Reception Venue as a good childminding service.
